Architect and fellow urban sketcher Andika Murandi recently invited me to do a presentation about urban sketching at the Ankrom Moisan Architects Seattle office.

On Feb. 11, 2017 I taught a Pocket Urban Sketching worskhop at the Amazon Campus in Seattle. The class kicked off the #USk10x10 series of workshops that Urban Sketchers is organizing across the globe in 2017.

I rarely sketch the same subject twice, let alone three times, over a short period of time. But that’s what happened recently when I drew the Arthur Foss, a historic tugboat moored on Seattle’s Lake Union.
